Prima Post - The Guide

The objective of this blog is simple. Milan is one of the biggest cities in Italy, one of the most famous one too. But GODDAMMIT, foreign moviegoers just can't catch a break here. Every film is dubbed in Italian. And English movies are a rarity in Milan.

Currently only three cinemas, publicly show English movies in their Sound and Motion Pictures Program:
- Cinema Mexico
- Anteo Spaziocinema
- Arcobaleno Film Center

However, UCI Cinemas chain is starting to revive their English movies program every week.

And if you look enough, Colosseo Multisala is giving sneak preview to indie movies before they go wide on the weekend in English.

For events, usually right after Venice Film Festival, they will have some of the films playing limited in Milan in their original language with Italian subtitles. You don't want to miss that (because I did).

So, I would help you by giving a week-by-week guide on these English speaking films. I'll add new postings every weekend.
